[WarInEur] Severe Weather Rules - Optional

I have a question on the interplay of the optional Severe Weather rules
and I am interested in everyone's comments.

As I read the standard Severe weather rules the following is stated:

1. During each Axis Reinforcement Phase of the first 20 Snow Turns of
Total War, the Axis Player must reduce one intact (6-5) German Infantry
Division per Game Turn into a Kampfgruppe
2. No more than one Mobile Supply unit may be included in a Line of
Supply (14.4) being traced in the Severe Weather Area. This restriction
applies only to that portion of the Line of Supply that is actually in a
Severe Weather Area; that portion of the Line of Supply that is outside
a Severe Weather Area is not restricted.
3.For the first 52 Game Turns of Total War, the normal Axis Supply Range
in a Severe Weather Area is reduced to six Movement Points (instead of
10). When tracing supply between Weather Areas the effective range is
that of the unit to which the supply is being traced. Beginning with the
53rd Game Turn of Total War, the normal Axis Supply Range is returned to
ten Movement Points. (This rule simulates the logistic problems caused
by the very inadequate Russian rail and road net. By 7/42 the Axis
forces had largely compensated for these specific difficulties by
reorganizing its supply system and through a generally effective
improvisation.)
4. MSU can't move in the winter in severe climate zones except by RR.

Now here comes the questions/statements

Under CWIE2 optional rules Select Game Options box , there is a check
off box for Severe Weather Build - The Severe Weather Build option is
straightforward. Spend 50 arms points and save a number of 6-5s from
being destroyed in the first winter. This applies to point 1 above.

Under CWIE optional rules Select Game Options box there are three move
check off boxes

Limit MSUs in Severe Weather
No Axis Severe Weather Reductions
No Severe Weather Supply

Does checking off No Axis Severe Weather Reductions mean that supply can
be traced up to 10 hexes from a RR in the first year of attack and that
MSUs can move and be chained together to extend supply ranges, dealing
with points 3 and 4 above? IHow is the different than No Severe Weather
Supply.

Does checking off No Severe Weather Supply mean that supplies rules are
not impacted in the severe weather zone? How is the different than the
No Axis Severe Weather Reductions?

Does checking off Limit MSUs in Severe Weather mean that they can't
move, or that they can't be connected in chains of more than one MSU, or
both?

My question is what happens if all three are checked.

Here is what the paper optional rules say.

Under the optional rule NO SEVERE CLIMATE EFFECTS This option suspends
several effects of the Severe Weather Area. This option strongly favors
the Axis Player. The suspended effects are: 1. Remove the restriction on
“chaining” of MSUs (see last paragraph of 14.4.2) 2. Remove restrictions
on movement of MSUs during Snow Game Turns in the Severe Weather Area
(see note (a) of 15.1). This applies to points 2 and 4

Thanks,

Carl
