A 'must' for panzerpushers everywhere...
I have often wondered at CRT nr 4 in the latter stages of the war for
the German forces,
and in many anecdotal combat histories,
the lacklustre performamce of the panzertruppen, in later 1944 and in 1945
It has often seemed somewhat confusing
to see these reports,
when with such vaunted top notch equipment
you would expect troops with even rudamentary training
to perform much better.
Indeed some of the ballistic figures drawn for various
combat models seem 'ungenerous' to a certain degree
'out of keeping' with the fearsome reputation of the individual vehicles.
