One twist with attrition, a 'wrinkle' that does play havoc with current
settled wisdom in the game...
I play recently with attrition on, and the OOS AEX option
This means no Aex if you attack oos!!!!!!!!!
But the attrition option allows for the gradual eroding of forces in the
frontline OOS.
Russia '41 feels a lot more fraught...
Now the Wehrmacht can punch aggressively through WITHOUT suffering
debilitating losses.
The sky is the limit for deep penetration work, and Rostov is now
eminently achievable.
And just as intriguingly,
hangng on there is every bit as difficult, as your army melts slowly
away on the oos limb in that winter vastness...
giving every German commander that sleepless night syndrome.

Using every minor unit he can scrape up and as many 6-5 as he can, attrition the Russians down and kill them in 42.
