The Germans in this game arelaunching a general offensive along the line,
and pushing in all directions to attempt to find weaknesses.


For the firsttime I am finding I am engaging in new behaviour as the 
defender.

Instead of remaining passive,
I am examining the stacks that have withstood the grey onsloughts,
and actually checking their individual condition,
then performing line rotations to rest units that have been in the thick 
of it...

The defender has a lot more activity open to him, if he wishes to 
optimise his defense...
No doubt my opponent is also profiting by careful man management 
techniiques (very much at my expense)
