I'm playing WitE 2nd with optional AOM rules added. I am also using the production penalty of WiE for the east to allow the Germans to select what they want to build.

8/1/42 the Germans just finished off a 10 corps pocket near Kharkov and are in route to break into the Caucuses in the next turn just east of Rostov. Sevastopol has just fallen a couple of turns ago and 12x6-5 are heading to the front to flesh out the attacking corps. Leningrad has yet to be surrounded as I am unwilling to risk a 2-1 attack to finish the deal. Moscow is 2 hexes away and there is a push for that city along with the push for Stalingrad.

The Russians just got 16x5-5, 4x8-6, 12x1-4, 8x4-4, 4x3-5 in this cycle to make up for the losses the last cycle and have 4x1-5 they could not afford to rebuild.

Aside from the people beta testing CWIE2, do we have any sense as to how many CWIE1 games are going on? Is anyone playing BWIE?
