{Spam?} [WarInEur] France 1940 and changing French unit strength- Addendum

Lets just get over this fantasy please. The French were not going to fight
with the Germans just because the Brits abandoned them. Remember that the
Brits bombed the French fleet etc. Most of France still looked to London as
their true friend in ally. And can you really see Hitler rearming the
French and relying on them to guard the flanks of his panzers? Not in a
million years, let alone a thousand...

regards,
Noel

A few more thoughts, if we made Vichy France an active Axis Ally if
Paris falls and there are not a certain number of British divisions
fighting to protect Paris. After all, the French would feel betrayed by
the British and might turn on them. The consequences of this would be huge.

1. No more need for a German garrison in France, 30 divisions freed up
for the East Front and North Afrika.
2. All surviving French troops are now converted to Active Axis and now
can fight side by side with the Germans and Italians in North Afrika and
Russia. Since the ten unit limit only applies to Germans, the French in
North Afrika might tip the balance against the British. Ahh Napoleon,
French troops occupying Moscow!!!

Plus, we could also make Norway defect to Active Axis too, at least in
the campaign game.

Imagine that, a Common Market, with military power in the 1940s fighting
against England and Russia!!!!

To prevent this the Brits would fight and die to save France!!!!
