I'd like to see your historic deployments.  Can you set it up in CWIE2 export the file to the wsu folder and then manually email me a copy?

For those not familiar with what the comment above means I just asked for him to do a one click operation to creat an complete replica of the French setups and then send it to me so I can inport it into the game to see what it looks like.  This is just one of the many refinements included in CWIE2.



Moving on.  Even fixing the deployments will only work for games that start on 2-5-40.  If the game is played from 1939 there is no way to force these deployments.  In the campaign game I see no way to "guide" the game to a historic outcome with the current French combat factors.  If the French 3-4's are reduced to 2-4's or even 2-3's for a limited number of turns then it might be possible to smash through the lines and create the openings that would allow the German mech units their historic mobility.

While this is definitely panzer pushing it should achieve the historic result.  When playing scenarios it might be possible to treat things differently, but I really believe the campaigns that start in 1939 need a different treatment.
