If the Attrition option is chosen, then these replacements play out very
differently.
I.E. You can convert these into formations, but the setting in attrition
means that such newly arrived formations are far from fit for combat.
As in real life to get the benefit you have to use these as relatively
useless and ineffectual units on a quiet sector or in the maginot line,
whilst the units rehabilitate into fully effective fighting formations.
Using these options, stops the 'conjouring out of thin air'
defenses of Paris for example,
using the many times rebuilt few mech units which pop up to hold some
crucial line,
staving off some key objective's fall.
Thus. it can be said, the bank of replacements the french are
stockpilling do not give the benefits that they used to...
