One thing everyone will have to remember who is used to playing CWIE1 is that Greg;s version did not support multihex combat. CWIE2 does. (For those unfamiliar with the board game, multihex combat allows attackers in one hex to attack defenders in as many adjacent hexes as the want).

So, if presented with a line of 1-4's while out of supply, I place all my attackers in a hex adjacent to three hexes containing 1-4 defenders and hope for a combat result other than a retreat. 1/2ex, Ex, De, all mean that the three defending 1-4's will be eliminated at a cost of one 6-5. flipped.

Anyway, Multihex combat will significantly change the exchange rate for OOS combat in 41 and may change game play as a result.
