I agree that the realities are the channel crossing would have been more
than just a "big river crossing". Especially in trying to keep the troops in
supply. But all of that being so, the other side of the "unrealities" is
that the wallie player knows this. He knows that at most a handful of UK
troops are needed in England. So send them all to Egypt.

So something is needed to incentivize the wallie player. The suggestions of
risking political points and/or additional loot is a good one for pushing a
historical BEF. I think a ratio of UK troops in England to German troops in
France would prevent the North Africa run amok issue.
