This appears to be correct according to the rules,
although there is some "discussion" on this point.
And this may be changed for the reasons you mention.
try it in CWIE-1 and you will find the same...
Whether it is wise to blitzkrieg with a R-R unit which may end up 
unsupported is , of course, another matter.

This will be a bug, and will be noted to the programming team, although, 
thinking about it, armoured support for the cavalry improving its 
freedom of manoeuvre is an intriguing idea.
I.E. If you are moving in line with armour, you are able to progress 
much more effectively against any enemy machine gun positions. , :-)

Yes there is, it is being worked upon.

Can be got around at the moment by changing the order of movement 
bearing this in mind. next release may well deal with this point
There is a major bug in British production at the moment,
introduced a few days ago with this version, however a bug fix will be 
arriving to deal with this.
At the moment British production is a game breaker...
