> Isn't this reflected by the change in CRTs?
CRTs reflect the ability of your unit to apply forcefully, changes to
the enemy, but your choices of CRT do not affect your ability to
function under attack, you rely upon the enemy crt changing to do that...
To provide symetrical adjustments to both sides of the equation, the
combat values on the pieces are altered. These changes reflect uniquely
upon the unit under examination, in contact with any units. The CRT
adjusts all of units abilities in general ways on the offensive side of
the equation.
Hencethe problem with the unabridged 8-10 on crt nr 4, useless in combat
when attacking, a hard nut to crack in defending.
The crt modification affects the 1st number in any 3 number unit
convention... i.e. if a 10-8 is reflected as a 10-*10*-8 crt mods can
change this to a 5-*10*-8, but not a 10-*5*-8. Thus the 2 number
convention in Wie shows this dichotomy, and unit strengths can sometimes
be a better way to adjust this.
