Or to put it around the other way, would anything dire happen if we were
to code this way? One of the results of the existing behaviour is that
most Axis commanders skew their deploymements in order to launch an
invasion that maximises this behaviour., the sort of behaviour that gave
rise to the 'perfect deployment' feature for the complete immediate
destruction of Poland.
From the point f view of the gamer nothing wrong with this, from the
point of view of the simulation designer, such acquired behaviour works
to completely frustrate the aims of the designer, who wanted a partisan
war to spring up in replication of history.
If we allow the cadres to be formed in the overrun movement, then the
immediate pressure is relieved to organise such an attack, and the
partisan war starts up later as envisaged.
The immediate effects remain the same, with Yugoslavia falling, but the
simulation's parameters remain 'un-overturned'.
