Testing the new variant with three options in particular has pointed up to
me an interesting side effect.
Options
1.Changing unit strengths
2.Attrition
3.Sealion
UK required garrisons are not demanded, but with CW units at lower final
full strengths...the UK is very much more vulnerable to any possible Axis
invasion.
Sealion makes such adventures possible for OKW
The allies really do have to take counsel of their fears and protect the UK
The option of running an early RAF stratgic bombing campaign can annoy the
Germans enough to send a force, the damage being done to German industry making
such an investment in time and resources seem relatively attractive.
All of which pressure feeds into other effects...
Investment in SB assets leaves the UK somewhat 'underpowered' which corrects
the tendency for a massive buildup in the midle east and a spoiling
offensive against the Italians.
The weaker allied position makes the North AFrican campaign much more
attractive for the Axis
There is a great deal more action in the early war period as the Axis find
the British cannot lock them into a defensive stalemate in France and in North
Africa.
