It is the fundamental achilles heel of all computer games, addressing it 
in the interface is often the key to a natural expansive experience. or 
something that really grates.

Get it right, and you lose the feeling of being cramped...get it wrong, 
and the game bombs.

The ideal, is probably something like Google earth, translate that into 
a cwie experience...and the product would  be leaping off the shop 
shelves...
