Gamers,
Please try and remember, WiE was designed to be played as a "what if" kinda
game. That is to say it was designed to allow players the luxury of
producing a larger air force or navy or attack sooner or later than was done
in history for example. War in Europe is a generic wargame and was never
meant to be an exact science but rather an exploratory one. There are
already games out there that are at WIE scale that have exact OOB's and
replicate the actual units and circumstances of the war precisely. WiE was
designed so that if a player wants to attempt to alter history they are free
to do so because it's how the game is played. I see a great deal of
discussion about historical accuracy and felt that a clarification was in
order.
