Blitzkrieg in the South is a clear precursor of the series.
The differences to Typhoon! are minor, and the Barbarossa
series were only incremental evolutions to that.
So, what do you think of the DaK > BftS evolution ?

Key elements of the East Front system that I liked:
- d10 CRT with 'extensions' for modifiers (-2..12), somewhat
non-monotonous, some with * results for extra losses to
tanks/AT/forts combat
- Asymmetric sequence, showing Soviet miscoordination
- Options for No Retreat, Additional Retreat, calling reserves
before combat
- Air subsystem with hidden missions that can show fighter traps etc.

Thank you for thinking about this,
