Sorry, didn't mean to ask a strange question.
I rarely ask questions and just lurk, so perhaps I made a mistake. My
questions refer to games in general, not a specific game. I think my
question has appeared to some to be related to a specific game.

What a strange question. I think the ratio will depend on the relative
sizes
of the units involved, and the combat factors being used, and the type
of
battle being simulated. Pretty much like everything else in the game,
in
fact.
