Well, to post it so prematurely would destroy the value of the magazine 
article sent to F&M on the subject.  I'm afraid you will just have to wait 
for F&M 145 or 146 (Jon wasn't specific and doesn't quite know which it will 
appear in).

What we are discussing is the appearance of a rule in Fire Combat, that 
doesn't appear in Melee combat, but players THINK it exists in Melee combat 
because it has in so many other games of the same type.  They're reading 
into the rules what simply doesn't exist.

But, you're correct about generalities, and as I referred to, specifics will 
have to wait for the article to appear.  Wouldn't be fair to F&M.
