[Consim-l] Avalanche SWWAS fuel (was Flat Top question)

Almost seems like a classic "realistic" vs. "playability" issue doesn't it?

Kinda ironic to find such a complex system in an Avalanche Press game.  I 
wonder how many GWAS or SWWAS players actually bother?  I think I would like 
to try it, at least once, then I'd probably build a spreadsheet to track fuel. 
But I can imagine what a pain that would be to transcribe every ship for every 
turn.  (I realize the rules suggest just tracking the task force, but 
eventually ships break off...)
