You may, or may not, remember our short time doing my

PBEM Cas/FT game where I sent those b/w photos?



In any case, my first rule in naval games is very simple.  If it's not

You're not.



Those games are simple enough that they can be played PB(E)M, or 
otherwise

refereed,

which adds a gigantic amount of play value and in fact makes the game 
_simpler_

to

play.

Yes, and yet not too unbelievably large in board size.



But there would be a _lot_ of counters.
