I'm OK with individual, single-seater flight simulators, but I found the
multi-member crew vessels/planes to be a tad bizarre when it comes to
computer games. My most vivid recollection was being the sole crewman on a
large, complex submarine - flitting from station to station to perform all
the crucial functions in serial, when they should be happening almost
simultaneously.

Oh well, some people want to be a private, a field marshal and everything
in-between all in the same battle on the same day. :-)

I have thus far mostly avoided computer wargaming, but it does seem to me
that
it would have significant advantages for things like submarine or flight
simulators. Is there such a thing as a computer version of Dauntless? I'm
thinking of a flight simulator that would let me push over and dive on the
Akagi, a dramatic moment that would be fun on a computer I would think.
