Tracy,
Why restrict it to even 10 or 16? However, within the parameters of the
question, I'd say go with 16.

Subject: [Consim-l] Cyberboard Changing Rules - Example: Outreach
The below is a poll that I'm asking my players in a PBeM of SPI's
"Outreach" to consider a rule mod. What is the general consensus of
Listserv members?
---- Original Message ----
There is a rule which says no more than 4 Autonomous Forces may be in
play. Considering 1) the original game was tied by the volume of
counters that could be printed, 2) Cyberboard allows us to have more
than four Autonomous Forces by redesign, and 3) I made eleven different
colors of Autonomous Forces in the Gamebox.
Poll Question #1: Should we exceed the normal limitation of four
Autonomous Forces?
(We've already exceeded the normal number of Players by one as well.)
I also understand some Players have learned to "game" the Autonomous
Force limit to their advantage (or disadvantage) by making sure someone
else ends up with an Autonomous Force by timing the Fate roll. Eleven
Autonomous Forces on the board could change that.
I could also up the Autonomous Force limit to sixteen if I toss in
unused Player colors.
Poll Question #2: If Question #1 is approved should I use 10 or 16
Autonomous Forces?
